Created in the spirit of the old world technique of spun cotton.
I am offering one of my primitive spun cotton bunnies. He is uniquely different, and each a true one of a kind.
This sweet bunny is some of my first work’s in spun cotton. I would work on him on and off through out 2025 along with several others. Bunny season was over as I was finishing them. So they waited patiently . I painted and gave them their personalities in Janaury. They are ready for spring.
I painted him in warm browns with hightlights on the their bellies and ears. He comes with a little basket I aged to look older, and brown grass tucked in. This basket is not attached, so it can be easily removed. Wee pink ribbon for their scarf.
Chester, lets call him is approximately 9 “ Tall and about 3” wide. He is a nice size and makes a wonderful anchor piece for a spring display.
Each is a OLM OOAK.
